BlackBerry Beta Zone is a great way to test and try BlackBerry latest and greatest before it hits the public eye. Today it was announced that Research In Motion has updated their BlackBerry Beta Zone in response to the advice and comments of its participants. Along with updates and improvements to the regular BlackBerry Beta Zone, RIM has also created a new Beta Zone that is geared towards the Business end of things which you can read about here – BlackBerry Beta Zone for Business. Among the many updates and improvements that were done to the BlackBerry Beta Zone here is a list of a few of them:
User Interface Re-Designed
The Entire Beta Zone has been re-designed and updated from top to bottom to give you a more clear and easy to use interface that will greatly increase the overall user experience for the participants of BlackBerry Beta Zone.
Clearer Separation between Business and Consumer Beta Programs
Instead of continuing to combine Business and Consumer beta programs, RIM decided to create a new sub-site that will be geared towards their business and enterprise related products and services. This separation will make finding beta programs easier and will keep the site less cluttered.
More Opportunities to Participate
BlackBerry Beta Zone will now be outfitted with ways that more of its participants can have a say and let their opinions be known by including things like comment areas on news feeds, more polls and surveys. This will allow more comments, advice and suggestions to better give the consumer and business what they want and need in a Smartphone.
Updated/Improved Mobile Website
The mobile site for the Beta Zone has also seen some changes to its user interface as well as making the download process a lot easier.
