Today marks the day that the first of the Tomb Raider series for the BlackBerry PlayBook hits BlackBerry App World.  This newest addition to the BlackBerry PlayBook features enhanced graphics and whole lot of action/adventure packed gameplay that will keep you busy shooting and fighting your way through hours worth of levels.

The basic plot of the game sees game icon Lara Croft venturing deep into the jungles of South America in search of the Mirror of Smoke, a powerful artifact from a lost age.  This Mirror of Smoke will allow its owner to rid the world of light leaving the existence of humanity within the hands of the person who owns this Powerful Artifact.  Unfortunately this mirror has fallen into the hands of Xolotl who is the God of darkness and Lara must use her skills to recover the mirror before sunset or the world will be doomed to an age of darkness.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light also features both character upgrades and cool unlockable weapons that you can use to make the gameplay even more exciting and action packed.  If you enjoyed the Tomb Raider series from other platforms then you will definitely want to get your hands on this game.

Today RIM announced that they have just released a new batch of BlackBerry simulators for developers.  The BlackBerry Smartphone simulators include pre – released smartphones with upgraded OS version as well as the new 9220 and the new BlackBerry 9320.  The 9320 is stated by RIM as being very similar to the 9220 and can run the applications that the 9220 can run.  Here is a list of the new and updated BlackBerry Smartphone simulators:
